Ash Esmaeili
Co-founder & CEO
Ash completed his Masters in Computer Science at the University of Calgary. From simulating 3D cells inside a virtual human body to visualizing motion capture data in virtual worlds, Ash is fascinated with data visualization, artificial intelligence and anything tech related. He is always the guy who tries the new things including unstable beta Softwares! After working at a local startup in Calgary, he co-founded Aimsio in November 2013.
Hamid Baghi
Co-founder & CTO
Since his early years, Hamid has always been a tech geek and programmer at heart. He has a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering and is passionate about working on ways to bridge the gap between the two. In 2009, Hamid moved to Alberta to pursue a PhD. in computer science. The growing arts scene, culinary choices, natural wonders, and great people, have made moving here an easy choice to make. He’s glad to call Calgary home!
Erin Pugh
Marketing & Communications Manager
Originally from Calgary, Erin headed to the east coast for school and graduated from Dalhousie University with a B.Comm in Marketing. On days when she's not hatching a marketing plan, you might find her on the golf course, reading or with a glass of wine in hand.
Dennis Hale
VP Sales
Dennis is a Kiwi-Canadian - born in NewZealand, but still finds himself struggling with Canadian winters! He is a pilot, dad, process-hacker, and overall tech junkie. As our VP Sales he is responsible for getting deep into the needs of our valued clients and ensuring their operations are optimized.
Jenson Chen
iOS Developer
Jenson has over eight years experience analyzing, developing and troubleshooting software systems architecture. He loves coding, reading tech blogs and enjoying tea in his free time. He also loves to read all kinds of books and watch science fiction films.
Melori Melnyk
Business Development Representative
Melori has experience in industries such as Hospitality and Tourism, Healthcare, and Education. She is a natural networker who builds rapport easily with others. In her spare time she loves watching team sports especially hockey. You'll find her glued to the TV during NHL playoffs, and the IIHF World Juniors Tournament over the Christmas holidays. Go Canada Go!
Shariq Moin
QA Team Lead
Having 20+ years of US/Canadian experience in a variety of roles, and double Masters degrees (Computer Science and Applied Mathematics), Shariq is a technical and out-of-the-box thinker who won't hesitate to go an extra mile to deal with a problem. He loves to play with his children when he is not at work. Shariq's greatest passion is travelling and exploring the wonders of the world.
Ken Bui
Integration Specialist
Learning about programming in middle school transferred over to Ken's interest in Computing Science as a career. He enjoys learning about all the aspects of software development, including problem solving, software design, and also working with clients. Outside of work, Ken spends time looking at watches, playing music, and building plastic models.
Ryan Wibberley
Implementation Developer, Technical Support
Ryan graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in Computer Science with co-op. While on co-op, he took a position in technical support and gained an interest in working with clients to solve problems. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tabletop games and watching movies of all genres.
Gustavo Lima
Senior Java Developer
Gustavo Lima is specialized in software engineering, development, and maintenance of Java Enterprise applications. He is focused on delivering timely, cost-effective, and reliable software solutions with the highest level of quality, demonstrating a detail-oriented approach to resolve technical challenges. When he is not in front of a screen or a book, Gustavo likes to try new restaurants and food trucks, especially Mexican and Asian delicacies.

A self-professed serial-collaborator, Clayton is focused on ensuring that our customer’s outcomes are the driver of Aimsio’s success. A proud dad and husband who loves sharing Alberta’s outdoor treasures with his family, and where meals with friends cannot happen too frequently!
Scott Chuckry
Implementation Project Manager
Scott is energetic, enthusiastic, and conscientious, with a passion for project management and building strong client relationships. Before completing his MBA, Scott gained 4 years of experience in financial analysis, SaaS implementation project management & business consulting. At work, Scott enjoys fostering new relationships and leveraging diverse perspectives to achieve successful onboarding. In his spare time, you can find Scott on the golf course, playing basketball, running, travelling, or attempting to play tennis.

Sam has a passion for organization and documentation. He works diligently to ensure that his projects run smoothly, on-time, and aims to create strong and lasting relationship with this clients and peers. Outside of work Sam loves to cook, watch movies, and play golf!
Samantha Homenick

As Aimsio’s Senior Account Executive, Samantha loves having meaningful conversations with prospects and turning them into happy customers. She has a deep appreciation for the ways technology can transform a business, and has worked in a wide array of industries from travel to FinTech, people analytics, and dental practice management. Outside of work, she loves to dance, travel, and scuba dive and believes a vacation doesn’t count unless it involves an airplane.
Blake Oman
Account Executive
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Blake graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce. He enjoys having value-added conversations with businesses and educating how software applications can not only improve processes, but foster organizational growth. Outside of work, you can find Blake playing softball, cheering for his Winnipeg Jets or on a golf course trying not to 3-putt.
Wilson Zhu
Implementation Developer, Technical Support
Growing up around video games and computers, it would make sense that Wilson eventually found himself in a related field. Having explored different careers, software development was the one he came back to. When not in front of a computer, you can find him out and about with his friends or working out in an attempt to stay active.
Lucia Gomez
Website Designer & Developer
Born and raised in Madrid, Lucia spent the last decade living in different countries and working in different disciplines. She discovered her passion for tech and design while working in a SaaS startup in Vancouver, and decided to follow that passion by studying Interaction Design at Emily Carr University. In her spare time, Lucia loves to go to the mountain, discover new restaurants, and play with her grumpy-looking cat Umo.
Nihal Khan
Junior QA Analyst
After completing her Bachelors in Technology, Nihal realized that she enjoys finding issues more than fixing them, so she chose to hunt down bugs and ensure quality software through her strong analytical and keen attention to detail skills. Nihal enjoys admiring nature and spending time with family and loved ones.
Aayush Dobriyal
Junior Implementation Developer
Graduating with a Major in Computer Science and a Minor in Mathematics, Aayush has always loved the creativity and logical reasoning required to code. As part of a co-op program, Aayush experienced many opportunities to showcase his programming prowess including the release of some apps and a specialized plugin. Outside of work, Aayush spends most of his free time being a diehard Leafs fan, playing the guitar, and watching MMA.
Dustin Morris
Software Training Specialist
Dustin is a highly-driven, resourceful professional championing a 20 year career in customer service. Having been providing technical training for both the financial compliance and legal sectors, Dustin joins Aimsio eager to apply his human-centric approach to technology services.
When not serving the needs of our clients, Dustin is often supporting the emerging music scene, playing the latest indie game or brewing the next greatest thing in coffee.
Nina Kalfic
Software Project Manager
Nina completed her degree from the University of Calgary majoring in Communications and Business. Her background stems from years in FinTech software project management and she has also dipped her toes in the NFT industry. She has a strong passion for building client relationships and internal process controls. In her spare time you can find her hiking, travelling, playing guitar, and constantly telling dad jokes.
Andrii Chulovskyi

Andrii graduated from the National University Lvivska Politechnika with a Masters degree in Software Engineering. He has had a chance to work in different IT fields, such as Content Delivery Networks, mobile platforms, VOIP software, Content Management system and AI. His favourite topic is AI and everything related to it. He also likes to play computer games and travel with his family.
Daniel Collins
Implementation Developer
I graduated with a degree in Computer Information Systems with a Co-op distinction from Mount Royal University in Calgary, with my Co-op/Internship roles in Business Intelligence, and also Machine Learning development. I’m passionate about developing software that helps people and businesses improve. I enjoy the problem solving that software development requires, and the collaborative nature of developing great software products. Outside of work I try to appreciate the great outdoors when I can, play different sports, and read a lot.
Natalie Sicilia
Sales Development Representative
Hailing from Ontario, Natalie comes from a long-standing business development background in print and digital sales, as well as a stint in SaaS. She is a relationship builder, who is naturally curious, has a deep passion for digital transformation, and always loves a challenge. In her downtime, if she’s not out with her beloved furry friend, you will find her cooking up a storm, learning something new or geeking out on CNN.

Matt completed his master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Alberta, where he practiced with some cool stuff in NLP and ML. He started coding when he was 15 and worked with different teams since then. Aside from his coding life, he enjoys going around in nature with his camera to capture the wild lives out there.
Raiza Naushad
Technical Support Developer
Raiza hails from India and has completed a Bachelor's degree in computer science, followed by a post-graduate degree in Mobile Solutions Development with Co-op from Conestoga College, Waterloo. With a background in customer support and SQL, she possesses a passion for solving problems. Outside of working hours, Raiza enjoys traveling to new places, indulging in photography, and expanding her knowledge through reading. Her varied interests and skills make her a well-rounded individual with a thirst for learning and growth.
